About Melissa C.
Hello! My name is Melissa, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota. I achieved undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Music Education. My ultimate goal is to become a high school band teacher. Through my student teaching experience, I gained valuable experience providing advanced feedback to high school band students. Throughout my undergraduate years, I was involved in an after school band program with beginner middle school instrumentalists. These lessons were designed to build fundamental skills through improvisation and composition. Thus, I have experience teaching every level of musician through a variety of instructional methods and genres!
