Hi! I would love to teach you piano. I was trained to play classically. I am an education major in school, so I have a great approach to teaching. I strive to meet you where YOU are, and make it an enjoyable experience. Piano is a beautiful instrument and I would love to go on this musical journey with you. Let's get started!

Hey there!  I LOVE teaching; especially the kiddos. I am an Elementary Special Education and Speech Pathology major, but I have many interests, music and languages being a couple of them.  I have been studying piano for almost a decade now and the flute for even more. I have taken state exams scoring my performance, and scored exceptionally. I have played in many recitals and even performed with an orchestra. When you take lessons with me, I will make it engaging and interactive. I want it to be as stress free as possible and an enjoyable experience, no matter what subject I tutor you in. I can't wait to meet you!

Melissa has been my daughter’s instructor for the pass 18 months. She is a great instructor, very patient and has a vast knowledge on classical piano. She has helped my daughter prepared for various recital and NYSSMA.

Melissa is such an amazing piano player. She doesn't go a day without playing the piano and is always ready to help the young children in church learn! She has such a kind & understanding personality so you will feel comfortable taking lessons with her.
