Hi there! My name is Melinda and I'm excited to meet you! I enjoy playing and teaching piano. I have 30 years experience playing, and play professionally for churches and events. I have12 years experience in private piano lessons, and 4 years teaching as an elementary music teacher. I enjoy helping my students gain confidence, and performance techniques to be amazing performers. I can teach classically with note reading and theory concepts, or contemporary using chords and lead sheets. I've held recitals both in person and virtual, and enjoy providing students opportunity to perform. I have an easy going personality and am extremely patient. Ive helped students reach goals to got through beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. I look forward to having the opportunity to reach your goals playing the piano also.
