Country Singing with Melanie T.

I have been singing my entire life and started voice lessons at the age of 6, so I don't think it's ever too early to get started! In addition to the many plays and showchoir programs I was involved in growing up, I have a BA in Theater/ Television from Pepperdine University, where I did numerous musicals and performances, as well as coached several productions. Since being in LA, I have studied with some of the most prominent vocal coaches here, whose clients include Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and more. As a performer and artist myself, I felt that I had more than just the technique to teach, I have the experience. Anyone can be an amazing singer, but it's that extra "it factor" that will get a singer noticed. In my 5000+ hours of stage experience, I knew this was something I wanted to focus my efforts on with my students, in addition to making you feel your absolute best about your instrument. By the second lesson, in addition to exercises to help strengthen your voice, I will begin coaching you with the songs you're working on! Depending on your level of experience and purpose for the song (i.e: audition / performance) I will also coach you on stage presence and performance.
