I have a Master's Degree in Oboe Performance from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. I also have a Master in the Art of Teaching Degree in Music Education from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. I play oboe professionally for special events, and weddings. I have played in Orchestras, Wind Orchestras, and Quintets. I have been teaching private music lessons for over 30 years. I taught General Music in Elementary Schools for 5 years. I also play piano and organ professionally. I have been playing piano and organ in churches for the past 3 years. I believe in making lessons enjoyable. I'm patient with students. I have worked with students ages 4 years old to adults age 75.
