Psychology with Melanie D.

Hi! I'm Melanie and I'm excited to start working with you! I began studying trumpet in the 4th grade and eventually switched to the euphonium (or baritone horn) in my senior year of high school. I played both instruments in college for different campus groups, such as the Off-Broadway On Campus pit orchestra, the Pep Band, and the Wind Symphony. I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester in 2012, with a minor in music. While at the University of Rochester, I tutored my fellow undergrad students in psychology, while also teaching private euphonium lessons. I know how important it is to really enjoy what you're learning, so I try to make learning fun for all my students.
