Singing with Melanie B.

My name is Melanie Budreck and I am a music education/vocal performance major currently attending Harper College in Palatine, IL. I am a classical, operatic and jazz vocalist. On top of that, I have played the viola for 12 years and the violin for 7 years. I am a self taught basic guitarist and piano player. I am currently a vocalist in the Harper College Jazz Band, a member of the Harper College Symphony Orchestra and the Harper College Concert Choir/Spectra Ensemble. I have performed in various different venues, including Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. I was recently employed at Tritone Music School in Arlington Heights where I taught beginner piano, music theory, and violin lessons. I I also taught a preschool music class at Busybee Montessori in Arlington Heights. My passion is educating the musicians of tomorrow with my own method and my goal post degree is to open up my own music school on top of performing as a professional vocalist!
