Hi! I have been playing piano for 18 years and am excited to share the passion with others! Music has been a special part of my life since I was 4 years old. I took lessons for 10 years and continued to play in college for the Naval Academy Women's Glee Club as the accompanist. While with the Glee Club, I had the opportunity and honor to sing for two Presidents and play piano for one, and sing with Beyonce as part of Obama's Inauguration Celebration. I specialize in teaching children as I put a great emphasis on fun! I want students to have joy playing before it gets difficult in order to encourage them to play longer. Part of that is I encourage learning songs that they are interested in tandem with the course so they continue to love what they play. I'd love to meet you and share my love with you.
