Hi new friend! My name is Megan and I have been practicing yoga for most of my life, over 20 years. Although I am not a certified yoga instructor, I love to share my practice with friends, family members, and coworkers. If you've never tried yoga before or you only practice from time to time, I'd love to work with you to help you master basic poses and bring a bit of yoga into your daily life for a happier and healthier you.

I am also the Community Experience Manager at TakeLessons and I play guitar and sing with my band Soft Lions.

I am definitely of the "non-bendy" sort, so I've always been a little apprehensive about yoga. I let Megan know this before the class, and she was super understanding. Overall the class was nicely paced for me as a beginner, and I felt calm and refreshed afterward!

Megan is such a patient instructor! She will go out of her way to make sure you understand how to correctly perform the yoga positions she is teaching. If you have problem areas, such as your back etc., she will tailor the class so that you can work on those problem areas. She's very pleasant and humorous - I highly recommend learning yoga with Megan!

Megan does a great job of making you feel comfortable in class. Megan's teaching style is calming and supportive, and I always feel like a get a good workout. She makes sure that all her students leave class feeling empowered and at peace. I highly recommend her!

Megan's classes are paced perfectly for beginning-to-intermediate students. She does a great job explaining the details of each pose, so I know exactly what to work on. She balances challenging routines with relaxing poses, so I definitely get a workout, but I don't feel too exhausted after class. I'll be adding yoga to my regular exercise routine!
