She always knows just what I need to work on, and has really helpful tips for all of my hiccups along the way.
Thank You, I will wok more on Minuet 3. I'll knock it off.
She is really a good teacher with a great sense of humor! ;)
Megan is super nice and my daughter really enjoyed her first lesson. We're looking forward to next week!
I have had a few lessons before this. Megan efficiently walked me through the lesson book to point where I was having an issue and we worked right there for a bit. She was efficient and quick to get what I needed.
Megan is a one of a kind teacher. My daughter absolutely adores her! She connects on a personal level with all her students and helps them thrive in their musical career. She adapts the lessons perfectly and goes above and beyond what other private lesson teachers have done before.
My daughter raves about her lesson for several hours after. We will continue lessons with Megan for as long as possible!
I'm 36 years old and I learned a few instruments when I was younger (keyboards, bass, saxophone). I had never played a bowed instrument and always wanted to try; so I rented a cello and started taking lessons with Megan.
Megan is a fantastic teacher. During our first lesson, she took advantage of my prior musical experience to teach me as much as possible, as fast as I could learn it. I will continue to take lessons with her and I definitely recommend her!
Thanks I will practice Twinkle when I have free time.
Thank You, after Gavotte what song will we play next.
As an adult beginner, I was very intimidated and fearful when I first took on cello lessons. My first online lesson with Megan was my first cello lesson EVER. She is a patient teacher who delivers high quality lessons. At the end of every lesson, I knew I received more than my money's worth. What really impressed me is that Megan really works to meet me where I'm at, not the other way around. She helps me with tips and techniques to support and challenge me as a student. I would recommend Megan for cello students out there! Beginners, you're in good hands!+ Read More
I'm still very grateful that I found Megan and feel blessed to have this opportunity to work with her. Today my irritation with my progress was very high heading into the lesson but she rightly met it with patience and compassion, trying to understand my complaint and adjust the lesson plan to fit my needs. I'm realizing that learning to read, write, speak, and listen to music is not an even process. I'm having growth spurts with feelings of exuberance and then flutter to utter confusion. Overall I think that's probably pretty normal, for me anyway, because I care so much about what I'm doing. This is not an easy topic. I hope to feel more comfortable with the parts of it that are burdening me by this time next year; I'll probably be overwhelmed by something out of my scope of the moments consideration like composing music I want to play and hear. Thank you Megan.+ Read More
I loved it! We're already working on combinations of musical notations and arrangements of notes. It's what I really needed and wanted from a teacher. I added another lesson weekly to help me accelerate my learning.
I have taken three lessons with Megan so far. Megan is highly professional but friendly. She has exceptionally good ears, even when the lessons are conducted online. I just picked up viola a couple of years ago. As an adult viola learner, I appreciate Megan's style. She knows that we (adult learners) will improve with practice. She combines the basics (scales), techniques, and tone in each lesson. It seems that she sees my strengths and areas of improvements and adjusts her teaching style to match my skills. I highly recommend Megan to viola adult and child learners.+ Read More
My first (online) cello lesson with Megan went very well! I was surprised to have learned so much during my first lesson. As an adult beginner, I was really appreciative of how Megan is very patient. I had to ask her a few times to repeat what she said, and she was really understanding in doing so. She also gave clear instructions. I'm really looking forward to practicing and having my next lesson!+ Read More
Fantastic instructor. Very patient and informative. A highly skilled teacher with a warm personality.
Megan is absolutely one of the best teachers I have had. I learned so much in such a short time. Megan's educational expertise makes lessons efficient, fun, and valuable. She truly cares about her students and makes music great.
She taught how to tune, how to hold the bow and violin, and how to play a song with several variations. All in one class!
t reports the lesson went well and she really likes Megan.
Megan is awesome. She's teaches with enthusiasm. You can tell she really likes what she does and connects with your interest. We feel lucky to have found her!
Couldn't have had a better 1st lesson. My daughter is excited to be taught by Megan.
My Daughter really liked the teacher and enjoying her lessons. She is showing interest to practice.
Megan came very well prepared and was very thorough in her explanations. I'll continue with her for the foreseeable future!
