Megan is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance with Professor Harumi Rhodes at the University of Colorado-Boulder. She recently served as a Kalamazoo Symphony Artist Scholar while completing her Master of Music and Artist Diploma in Violin Performance at Western Michigan University, where she served as the graduate teaching assistant to Professor Renata Artman Knific. Megan holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from the University of Iowa under the tutelage of Dr. Scott Conklin. Megan has held principal positions with the Western Michigan University Symphony Orchestra as well as the University of Iowa Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, and section positions with the Southwest Michigan and Holland Symphony Orchestras.

Very friendly and explains concepts very clearly. I had a great lesson and learned so much! When I went home to practice all that I had learned my violin playing was cleaner than it had ever been!
