Dance with Megan G.

Megan has had 8+ years of experience including Cheer, Drill, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Salsa, Zumba, and Hip Hop. All of which she has used to improve her skills as a choreographer. Having a variety of dance styles, Megan also has a variety of experiences. She has never turned down the opportunity to enroll in dance and theatre electives throughout middle school and high school, nor has she passed up a dance audition. Megan has not had a year in her life that she was not on a dance team. At a point in high school, Megan was on a dance team both inside and outside of school as well as dance classes. She has learned time management, safe dance practice, avoiding injuries, as well as experience from different choreographers whom helped her find her style. Megan has taught dance to ages and levels of all kind, mostly through volunteering and internships as a teacher or assistant. She has led multiple classes on campus, at parks, and gyms, performed in many recitals, parks, and competitions which has led her to be very familiar with discipline and confidence. Megan is a full time sophomore student at the University of Guam and a member of the Dance team. As a Music major, she is musically inclined and not only feels the music when she dances but understands it as well from the lyrics to the beat to the key the song is in. Being able to break down the music in front of her allows her to use that musicality in her choreography. Megan's lessons will consist of pedagogy, professional development, self expression, creativity, and assessment of dance potential. Each lesson will be tailored to fit your needs and goals.
