**ABOUT ME** I sang with three different choirs at my high school in Texas, winning several outstanding choral awards at the state level. I attended Ave Maria University in southwestern Florida, where I earned my B.A. in Music (vocal performance). I sang in smaller groups and quartets at many banquets, special occasions, weddings and liturgical ceremonies. I also directed the music for our school's production of the musical "Oklahoma!", which was unofficially acclaimed to be on par with traveling shows! I held an hour-long senior recital featuring operatic and classical pieces, including several duets, to finally earn my degree. Since college, I have sung with the world-famous and Grammy-winning San Francisco Symphony Chorus, local group I Cantori di Carmel, the internationally-acclaimed Carmel Bach Festival, and have been self-employed for several private engagements, such as weddings and special events. **TEACHING STYLE** I can work with children, teens, adults, and people with special needs. I also currently hold a part-time job as an ABA Therapist to children and teens with an autism spectrum disorder. I am a passionate, dynamic, empathetic, and intuitive teacher. I will be transparent and honest with you; my commitment to honesty and being up-front with my clients is something I pride myself on. Combining my passionate love of music, my technical expertise that comes from both education and experience in the field, and my natural sensitivity and continuing education to human behavior and psychology, I am well-suited to take on almost any level of student! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have; please get in touch if there's anything I can do for you! **LESSONS & EQUIPMENT** My teaching style is extremely particular to the individual student. No two students' lessons will be alike. I am a graduate student studying clinical mental health counseling, and am able to use this knowledge of personality differences, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as picking up on subtle behavioral and emotional cues, to my advantage to communicate effectively with each student in order to produce excellent results. I have a keyboard with build-in speakers that is ready to travel with me to any of my lessons. If there's a piano in-home, I'm happy to use that. If not, my keyboard is ready!
