Confidence in acting is all about finding your own process, discovering the best things that work for YOU. Whether you have an audition you're working towards, a job you're preparing for, or you want to flex your acting muscle through new material, let's hash it out!

When I was cast as a supporting lead in an HBO show years ago, I had no idea what I was doing. I came from a theatre background and had never been on a set before - I learned by watching and asking the actors around me who had been doing it for years. Now, after nearly a decade in this business, I've found some things that help me that can hopefully help you. This should be fun! Feel free to check out my IMDB page for a more detailed overview.

About Meg S.

I graduated from Northwestern University where I studied Acting and Music Theatre. I have spent nearly a decade working in theatre, TV, film, and commercials. Credits include: HBO's Boardwalk Empire, Peacock's Mr. Mercedes, NBC's Mysteries of Laura, ABC's Nashville, and FX's American Horror Story.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have! Looking forward to getting to work!

Meg is really smart at this stuff. She helped me tape an audition and I was very proud of the final outcome. She is so good at rooting you in the circumstances of the story, and enriches your performance with basic questions such as "What just happened right before this?", "Is it cold outside?" Sounds simple but makes all the difference, especially to those of us who have done this acting thing for a while. A seasoned actor herself, she has the natural eye of a director. Coach with Meg!!

I was prepping an audition with Meg - she really gets what a scene needs and knows how to help you tap into that within yourself. I kept reading the scene one way and she helped me see how the scene functioned as a part of the episode (it was for a guest star) and required a slight emotional tweak ... her work with me landed me a callback. I am so grateful for her insight and for making every minute fun.

It honestly does not get better than Meg when it comes to acting coaches. She is a powerhouse in her own professional career and she brings all that experience to your work. She is kind, fun, encouraging, and genuinely interested in who you are as an actor/what you want out of your career. You cannot get more of an expert than Meg.
