Ninjutsu with Maynard B.

Senior Instructor and co-owner of Discovery Defense Arizona, Maynard Breese – 2nd Degree Black Belt, Budo Taijutsu (ninjutsu) I came to Budo Taijutsu after trying several other martials arts throughout my life, rising to middle level belt rankings (Shorin Ryu Karate – Red Belt, Daito Ryu Jujutsu – Green Belt) and not feeling I had found a complete system. Having followed Stephen K Hayes since I was a teen, I jumped on the chance to study Taijutsu, eventually earning my 2nd degree Black Belt and his instructor certification (working towards my 3rd degree now) I have been a student of Taijustsu for 12 years, and an instructor for 8 years. I have also had earned my 4th stripe in the Gracie Combatives system before it was blended into their current format, and am currently working on my blue belt under Professor Roy Dean's organization. I am also one of just two active instructors in the state of Arizona who has trained with both Mr. Hayes and 8th degree black belt John Poliquin.
