I sang in middle and high school, and am studying music education. I have been in choruses that sang in Weill recital hall at Carnegie Hall, and love showing kids how to hone in their singing ability. Everyone is a singer, I want to make everyone feel like a confident singer. 

I understand various voice types and styles, and can pronounce pure vowels which are common in songs not in English

Hi! My name is Maya and I am a senior in NYU music education! I have been playing clarinet since I was 9 and singing since I was 13 and I have loved music forever. 
I like to listen to lots of kinds of music and play lots of kinds of music, even though I love play classical music best. I hope that we can work on technique together and make some beautiful music, prep for a competition/audition, and have fun together!
