I have been playing for over 20 years and teaching for over 12. Growing up as a student of Steve Vai, I was enthralled by the technicality of the guitar and used my abilities to receive a Bachelor's of Music degree from Cal State Northridge, in classical guitar and later studied jazz in the Master's Program at the prestigious Conservatory of Cologne, Germany. Currently I perform with various touring pop artists and local musicians in genres ranging from country, rock and blues to r&b and soul. I have crafted a guitar method that encompasses all aspects of learning the guitar, from technique to reading music, in a fun way that is efficient and easily understood. With a focus on quick results and performance, I've had many students who have gone on to professional music careers. Not only will you receive a personalized lesson plan geared toward you and your goals, but I can also offer other music instruction such as songwriting, ear training, & production/recording.
