Fluent in almost every style of guitar playing, Max has been playing for 17+ years and teaching for the last 12. After his teen years performing rock & blues in Hollywood, he decided to follow his idol, Randy Rhodes, and study classical guitar. After receiving a Bachelor's of Music degree from Cal State Northridge, he was invited to study in the Master's Program at the prestigious Conservatory of Cologne, Germany. It was here that Max also began to refine his jazz playing.
He has crafted a guitar method that would encompass all aspects of learning the guitar, in a fun way that is efficient and easily understood. With a focus on quick results and performance, he's had many students who have gone on to professional music careers.
Not only will you receive a personalized lesson plan geared toward you and your goals, but Max can also offer other music instruction such as songwriting, ear training, & recording. He can even help you record your demos at his studio using top quality gear!
