I am a professional pianist, keyboardist, and composer and a recent graduate of USC's Thornton School of Music majoring in Jazz Studies where I studied with many famous musicians and composers including Patrice Rushen, Peter Erskine, Vince Mendoza, Russ Ferrante, Alan Pasqua, and Bob Mintzer. In the past few years I have performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, South By Southwest, The UNISA International Piano competition in Pretoria, South Africa, and many venues in and around Los Angeles including the Troubadour, the Blue Whale, and The Satellite. I play in a wide variety of bands and have experience playing styles such as Pop, R&B, Jazz, Folk, Blues, Afro-Cuban, Latin, and Funk. I also studied classical piano for ten years. I teach piano students of all ages and skill levels, and it is my goal to give students a strong foundation in piano skills and theory so that they can achieve their own individual goals and be able to express themselves musically and in their own unique way.
