Acoustic Guitar with Matthew R.

I have been writing and recording music since I taught myself guitar at the age of 14. 20 years later, I am a regularly gigging solo acoustic act, lead singer/guitar player of my own band, and enjoying sharing the guitar playing experience with my students! I also have a small studio where I am constantly writing and recording new songs. I remember those first few weeks teaching myself guitar (the good, the bad, and the ugly). I want to help you get started in this process and make it as fun, yet fruitful as possible! The goal is getting you playing your favorite songs quick. I've found that by working around songs that you love and know really well, it makes the learning process so much easier. Styles I typically work with include Rock, Indie Rock, Country, Pop, Alternative, Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Metal, Hard Rock, and Blues.
