I have been a teacher for "From the Heart" music instruction for 5 years. I have taught in many after school programs, year round at a community center, and have private music students I visit in their homes. I have in performed musical theater as well as acted in television and film. I enjoy blues, swing and ecstatic dancing. *** Lesson Details *** I enjoy teaching with the Alfred's Publishing Books. I also use the Faber Piano Books as well as other series. I ask the students to play the correct notes and duration of notes but at the speed the child feels comfortable. The emphasis is keeping songs fun and enjoyable. Once a song is played correctly, I stamp the song and move to the next so that parents can see how their child is progressing. *** Travel Equipment *** Guitar Keyboard if necessary *** Specialties *** I work with groups, private lessons in school, private lessons in homes, and at a community center.
