Piano with Matthew M.

I'm a school music teacher and professional pianist/keyboardist. I graduated from Rowan University with a B.M. and B.E. in Music Education (specifically instrumental music, with piano as my main instrument). I've taught private piano for 7 years. And I have taught instrumental music in schools for 5 years. While my formal training is almost entirely classical. I've recorded two albums and an EP with an original rock band, No More Pain. We've shared the stage with international stars such as fuel, monster magnet, and others. I play keyboards and sing for the cover band Jack. We primarily play in clubs along the Jersey Shore. I've recently begun composing music for video games. I'm the composer for a game with the working title SWOOP a demo is available. Other video game projects are in the works. I love music of all genres and have a diverse background. My basis is classical music but I have experience with rock/pop as well as some jazz. I want my students to learn the music that excites them the most and believe my versatility enables me to help my students do exactly that!
