    About Matthew M.

As a Music Educator, Music Director, and a Music Education coordinator, my passion lies in helping people access and perform music. I believe correct and healthy technique unlocks a world of musicality. I also know learning music is at its best when the process is fun and progress can be felt every lesson. Students will improve week to week in both their playing and their comprehensive understanding of music. With an emphasis placed on ear training, theory, and sight-reading, students will find themselves quickly excelling in the areas of their choice. I teach students of all ages and levels. Whether you're touching the instrument for the first time, or have played for years, I will help us create a curriculum and a goal plan to effectively make music. Additionally, I have a background in early childhood musical development and believe structured fun and play are the key to long term musical success. If you are a parent interested in your child learning and sticking with an instrument, I can give you the skills and tools to have a musical home for a lifetime. Your musical goals are the most important to me and I can't wait to talk more and see what we can do together!
