English (ESL) with Matthew L.

EXPERIENCE I am excited to be your teacher. I have multiple years teaching English overseas as a Peace Corps Volunteer and as a full-time corporate after-school teacher. I have taught middle school and high school students, as well as adult students in large classes, small groups and one-on-one. EDUCATION I have a TEFL Certificate and a BA degree. I studied both French and Spanish in college and have spoken Spanish for over 10 years. I currently work in the legal profession where I speak Spanish daily with clients. My desire is to help you set and achieve reasonable language learning goals. For any first lesson, I would like to get to know you, you goals for any one-on-one tutoring, and to discuss curriculum/resources that you may prefer to learn from. FELLOW LANGUAGE LEARNER As a Peace Corp Volunteer I studied Azerbaijani (a Turkish language) and a bit of Russian. Arabic is my current goal as well as always bettering my Spanish skills. My French is super rusty, but I will re-dedicate myself to that beautiful language again one of these days.
