    Matthew holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Arts degree, with specialization in Jazz Studies, from Middle Tennessee State University. He has twenty years experience teaching guitar, theory and composition to students of all levels, ages and various playing styles. Matthew has been an active guitarist and composer for over a decade working as a freelance composer and guitarist in Boston, MA; New York City, Nashville, TN; Delray, West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He currently teaches at Florida Atlantic University as an adjunct professor for guitar and commercial music ensembles. Furthermore, Matthew is a freelance composer, arranger and editor for FJH Music Publishing. Some of his works include - "FJH Guitar Ensembles: Selected Ensembles for Elementry-Inermediate Guitar" and "My First Easy to Play Guitar Tablature Book" series.
