Excellent teacher and a wonderful person. Leila was shy in the beginning and Matt was patient and knew how to work with her which made her comfortable. Leila learned a lot already in the few lessons she's had and is excited to learn more.
First lesson went ready well! Looking foward to future lessons.
Based on one lesson, Matthew was terrific. On time and my son really liked him. He'll back next week for lesson 2. Really upbeat attitude and very easy-going. Plus he really knows his piano - just want to make sure I mention that. Good teacher no doubt. As my son gets to know him I am sure he'll have no problem getting more excited about learning the piano.Show More

My daughter Makaila loved her first lesson. She wants to even extend it to 45mins. Matthew was awesome. Had my daughter playing and reading music in 20 mins. Extremely pleasant and very upbeat.
Since the first lesson you could hear something happening. I've never heard the progress like the first seating. Matthew knows how to teach! He teaches to warm up your voice. My daughter is getting more familiar with keys and her notes. My daughter is excited and looks forward to her next lesson. He is definitely a keeper!
I'm learning so much and it is very rewarding!
My child has been taking piano lessons with Matthew for over five years (pre-teen to teen). I myself took a few lessons with Matthew, until my schedule no longer allowed for the continuation of those lessons. He is extremely talented and patient. Most importantly, he is capable of teaching people to play a wide variety of piano music. Not everyone can teach what they know. I highly recommend Matthew as an instructor for you or your family.Show More

Matthew genuinely created my love for music. I began taking piano lessons with him at 8 years old, and then vocal lessons at 15. He not only made lessons fun, but has a true investment in his students' musical progression and talent. I can still remember when he sat down with my 12 year old self and convinced me not to give up on my musical talent just because I was frustrated with practicing. I would recommend Matthew to absolutely anyone, he is a wonderful mentor, friend, and teacher!Show More
Matthew is an exceptional vocal coach. My son looks forward to going and his singing has really improved. There aren't enough words to express how pleased I am and lucky to have found Matthew as my son's vocal coach.
He's truly amazing, over the past few years I've learned so many new techniques. He also helps you practice with the things that you like or benefit from. It can either be classical, pop, etc. Overall it's a great experience!
