Are you wanting to learn a programming language? Or perhaps you want to learn how to build your own high-quality websites from scratch. Or maybe you just bluffed your way into a new job that requires SQL skills, and now you need a crash course so you don't get fired on your first week. Or maybe you're a student taking Computer Science classes and you need a little extra help understanding some of the more challenging concepts.

Whatever the case may be, I can probably help you out. I have extensive experience working with large-scale corporate software. I have a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science. The languages I am proficient in include HTML, CSS, JavaScipt, Java, C#, PHP, Python, Ruby, and SQL.

I am a patient teacher who is very good at distilling complex concepts into easily understandable lessons.

For total beginners who are unsure of which languages to learn first, I have a few suggestions depending on your goals.

If you are interested in web design: HTML and CSS (these will be taught as one)

If you are interested in databases: SQL

If you are interesting in easily learning basic programming concepts and techniques: Python

If you want to really understand programming concepts: Java

If you already know enough about HTML but are wanting to learn about server-side processing and websites that use databases: PHP or Ruby.

If you are a computer science student: Then they are probably making you take Java anyway.
