French Horn with Matthew B.

Matthew is a French horn instructor as well as active performer in the United States. He has taught junior high beginners, high school students preparing for college auditions, college students, adults, and he teaches on the faculty at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp in Alaska where he teaches horn and chamber music. Matthew has played Guest Principal Horn with the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Tacoma, and Maui Pops Orchestra. He was the Acting Principal horn of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra in Honolulu from 2015 to 2017 and was previously the Acting Associate Principal and Third horn in 2014. He is frequently called to play with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, 5th Avenue Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Paramount Theatre, Seattle-based commercial studio recording projects, and a variety of other ensembles.
