Hey, Y'all! My name's Matt and I am a graduate of the Los Angeles College of Music, previously known as the Los Angeles Music Academy. I graduated at the top of my class with highest honors, heading the student body as part of the school's Student Ambassador Program. I have been been playing for 13 years, professionally for 9. I have had the massively good fortune of always having fantastic instructors and mentors, throughout the years; allowing me to progress and grow quickly for a young man of my age. I am currently under the private tutelage of Mr. Ralph Humphrey, whom I pray needs no introduction. I am highly versed in many styles and perform regularly thoughout LA County with several corporate and wedding groups, jazz combos, big bands, and country and pop acts, while also teaching and recording. The curriculum I impart to to my students is of that of Ralph's, my own, and the complete program of LACM's drum department. IMO, this is the most complete curriculum for modern drum set.
