I am currently a student in the Musical Theatre Department at Point Park University. By May of 2019 I will have my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Whilst at Point Park, I have studied several different acting/voice techniques, Stanislavski, Hagen, Chekhov, Linklater, and Meisner. In addition to these styles I have also studied a multitude of different types of plays and playwrights including Shakespeare, Ibsen, Miller, Hellman, and Kushner. Having said all of this, I have a vast array of experience when it comes to different tips and tricks to help the student.
I have also heavily studied Musical Theatre in varying styles. Everything from contemporary musical theatre all the way back to English operetta. A huge part of my work comes from script analysis. This will be heavily integrated into the work that we do together.
Whilst at Point Park, I have done several plays including, The Actor's Nightmare and The Good Person of Szechwan. I have also had the pleasure to be involved in a staged reading of Crazy Mary Lincoln. Last year I was in the ensemble of Kiss Me, Kate and come this October I will be returning to the Pittsburgh Playhouse as Herr Schultz in Cabaret. In the summers I perform frequently in regional theatre. I was last seen as Mary Sunshine in Chicago the musical through Summer at the State.
