Matt Cummings of Pitches Academy has more than a decade of professional private and group music instruction. Matt makes learning music fun and inspiring!  

As a professional touring and recording guitarist Matt brings his professional experience to his students using real world tools to help students succeed and have fun. 

Matt Cummings has a decade of private and group music instruction. His students have gone on to attend Berklee College of Music, record and release albums of original music, and win numerous Battle of the Bands competitions against other student bands.   Matt specializes in guitar, bass, and drums and can provide his fully equipped teaching and recording studio for lessons, or travel to your home.

My main goal is to make sure that my students enjoy every aspect of learning music! I teach using music that students already enjoy, and give students the tools they need to communicate with other musicians with the goal of playing in their own band when they feel ready. Playing music should be fun!
