Beginner

I’ve been studying and playing acoustic guitar since I was a young child. However, I’ve been a professional “gigging” musician for 5 years. My passion, along with performing, is teaching beginning guitar students. I love helping them see that they can have fun right from the start—and nothing motivates the beginner better than having fun and rocking out almost from day one! 

I will provide you (or your child) with a clear lesson plan, video tutorials as an aid between lessons, and a highly supportive environment. When you’re ready, I’ll help prepare you for your first public performance whether it’s for a family gathering in your living room or at an open mic at a coffee house. And who knows what will come after that? 

On stage, I specialize in a powerful style that blends rhythm and melody. With Cecilia Grace, I performed over 120 dates last year and will be performing 45+ shows this summer alone. I’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with Ryan Cabrera, Drake Bell, Capital Cities, O Town, and 2017's American Idol winner, Trent Harmon. However, it all began with lessons and practice.
