I have studied sign language professionally for at least 5 years and have received both an Associate’s and a Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language Interpretation. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the accredited William Woods University located in Missouri and I have been an interpreter in both the educational and theatrical settings. My passion lies in bringing the language to the masses and watching the skills of beginners grow from week to week. I prioritize holding space for the student to become comfortable with the learning curve and to grow in confidence. Feeling comfortable enough to not be afraid of making mistakes so you can then learn from them, is key. I make the learning process fun and something to look forward to, instilling a sense of confidence and accomplishment in the student every step of the way.
