Tin Whistle

I've been teaching tin whistle for 18 years, and in that time I've taught students ages 8 to 82. I teach each student according to what they want to learn, in the way they want to learn. You can learn tunes and technique with or without reading music. You can learn to play Irish tunes at home or dare to come out and play at your local Irish session, and I can get you there. If you're already playing, I can help you make your playing more authentic by working with Irish ornamentation and variation.

You can find me each week at my local Irish session, where I play tin whistle, flute, and Celtic harp. I think playing the whistle is really fun, and I love to introduce people to it and to help people improve who are already playing.
