Welcome! I am a teacher with 10+ years of experience. I teach beginner to intermediate English, Spanish, and test prep, especially math.
In university I studied Education and Spanish. I traveled to Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Spain, Costa Rica and Guatemala. After graduation I studied English as a Second Language and I am certified in New Jersey.
In our first lesson I like to see what level students are, ask what their goals are, and begin lessons that target those goals. Personalized lessons are the most effective and motivating. I love to help my students accomplish their goals and enjoy the process!

Mary is a wonderful teacher. She is patient and bright and tailors her lessons to fit the needs and desires of the learner. I enjoy our sessions very much and have learned more Spanish working with her than in all of my past attempts to learn languages combined (from years of courses to Rosetta Stone). In ten hours I feel I have a good foundation for understanding the language and can form sentences and engage in conversations on my own. I look forward to continuing with her and learning even more!

I have meet many educators in my life time but non have ever stood outas much Mary, she has anazing energy and great patience when teaching others and she knows how to be relatable to her students. Great experience!
