    Classically trained, Mary-Kathryn has studied under Sewell Griffith, the magnificent operatic soprano, and Sheila Murphy Dunn, the assistant professor of music at the University of West Florida. Mary-Kathryn has played many musical theatre roles from Frenchy in Grease to Gypsy to Pippin and Oklahoma, working in the professional college settings of the University of West Florida and under the greatest theatre instructor, Charles Sirmon, of Chipola College. In addition to these roles, Mary-Kathryn has choreographed and served as a vocal coach for show choirs and choirs at these institutions, as well as on a private one-on-one basis. Mary-Kathryn has a bachelor of arts degree in musical theatre from the University of West Florida where she double majored in classical voice and also minored in education. Mary-Kathryn or Mkat (as she is known by most colleagues, friends, and family) is looking forward to working with you on you musical theatre endeavors.
