I listen to all types of music: rock, jazz, disco, rap, metal, classical, country, etc. I teach my students the music that they want/need to learn. If you're in band at school but you mostly listen to hip-hop, then I will most-likely cover what you need for school as well as some hip-hop. I take concepts from multiple genres to create well-rounded and versatile drummers. Learning music should be fun and not a chore. I'm mostly a metal-head but I play all genres and I'm currently in an alternative rock band, and a punk band.
