I've been teaching singers in contemporary styles of music for 10 years. I have a no nonsense approach that is thorough, effective, and applies directly to the music you want to sing! No more singing boring classical songs. No more doing scales for months on end. No more singing music you're not interested in. I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO SOUND LIKE A CONTEMPORARY SINGER, NOT A CLASSICAL SINGER! I get straight down to business from the moment we begin talking, and hone in your YOUR specific problems and what we need to do to move you from point A to point B in the least amount of time. I have had extensive experience in Speech Level Singing (SLS), having received over 400 hours of teacher training from voice teacher Badiene Magaziner. I am also well versed in many of the contemporary methods such as Singing Success (SS), Complete Vocal Technique (CVT), and Jaime Vendera's Isolation Method in addition to traditional Bel Canto techniques. I understand the anatomy and physiology of the voice and how it relates to the sounds you want to make as an artist thanks to a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders (the field of speech pathology). All you need is a simple mic (nothing fancy necessary), a webcam, a broadband internet connection, and a free Skype account. ALL LESSONS ARE FOR ONE HOUR. Lessons can be recorded using software available on Skype so that you can go back and review all of the topics we cover in the lesson at your convenience. You can use Pamela for Skype (Professional Edition) if you are on a PC, or ECamm Call Recorder if you're on a Mac. Alternatively, I can record the call for you.
