Opera Voice with Markus B.

My name is Markus and I am a professional trumpet player and singer from Graz in Austria, the city where Arnold Schwarzenegger was born. I started to learn trumpet when I was 8 and decided it is my life. I played and learned every possible style on it and found my favourite music in historical performance practice. That is why I studied natural trumpet in the worlds leading university for historical informed performance in Basel, Switzerland. I played in wide parts of Europe and always felt great passion in giving my knowledge and passion to my students. In 2012 I was teaching at the baroque program of the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz where I had the great pleasure of working with American students for the first time. In the last years I added singing to my portfolio as I was also studying it in Basel and with Alan Dorna during AIMS.
