Overview

Hi, I'm Mark! I teach saxophone, clarinet and flute lessons out of my studio in Astoria , Queens, or I can come to you.

I grew up in Australia, and have been teaching in high schools, music schools and privately since the age of 18. I have a Bachelor of Music with Honors from the University of Melbourne studying classical saxophone, and moved to NY in 2010 to pursue further jazz studies. I have since performed around the US with some of NY's finest musicians and taught at numerous school throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Music is fun! That's why I play it. I think everyone should have fun making music. I have helped students reach their musical goals including getting into college music programs, pass exams, or simply perform their favorite songs for their friends and family.

If you are interested in taking lessons, please get in touch to find out more!

Mark is a great teacher for kids and adults! I took a few lessons, thought he was great, and encouraged him to join the team here at takelessons.com, so he can get even more exposure! Kids will love his ridiculous accent! Throw another shrimp on the barbie!
