Mark is an amazing instructor. He has an abundance of technical expertise which he applies with compassion. He is able to assess a student's potential and both teach to that potential and suggest practice assignments that are neither too daunting nor too easy. I recommend Mark as an instructor to any student.

I started with Mark as a beginner and he has been everything I hoped for in a piano teacher. He’s patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and has helped me tremendously. Mark gets as excited as I do when I make progress! Mark told me upfront he would be demanding about practicing scales and focusing on proper fingering — and It has been very helpful. Plus Mark is a very nice guy and I always look forward to chatting with him during our lessons.

Mark is a wonderful voice teacher! I have sung in choirs for years without having had any proper voice training. I’ve had Mark’s compassionate coaching for about three years and I feel so much more confident in my voice and my ability to contribute to the group. When Mark gives feedback he always finds a lot of positive things to point out and deftly slips in the issues I need to work on. I leave my lessons feeling good while having a good idea of the work I need to do before my next lesson. I highly recommend Mark Zwilling if you are looking for a voice teacher; he is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient.
