Violin with Mark W.

I am a professional violist working in the central Illinois region. I've been playing the viola for 21 years, and also am comfortable on the violin as well. I received my Bachelors of Arts from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2004, double majoring in Music Performance (viola) and in Philosophy. Afterwards, I completed my Masters of Music in 2010 at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. I frequently play with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia da Camera, Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Milliken-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Danville Symphony Orchestra, and others. In addition to music, my passions carry over to argumentation, literature, long distance running, and writing. I have a fierce eye for grammar and composition, and love to work with students to better their writing and understanding.
