I’m so glad we found Mark as a teacher, my son was really struggling when he first started playing the trumpet and was just about ready to quit altogether. After his couple of lessons with Mark there already was a noticeable difference in not just his playing, but also his confidence and attitude. He was having FUN again! We highly recommend Mark as a teacher and plan on signing our daughter up for lessons when she starts playing her tuba too!

Mr. Talley was my teacher for 6 years. I learned a lot from him. He helped me make top ratings on all of my solos, and even though I don’t play any more now that I am grown, I know he helped me become a better person. He was a great teacher, and now he’s a great friend. He knew a lot of tricks to help me play better.

I enjoy his since of humor as well as his ability to work with my schedule. Mr. Talley has also provided me with hand picked and sometimes hand written exercises personalized to best suit and benefit me. My experience with him has been nothing but pleasant and i seem to be improving a-lot since starting lessons with him.

I have known Mark Talley as a teacher for almost 20 years. The past 2 years I worked directly with him. His knowledge of brass instrument pedagogy is top notch but what impressed me most was how he was able to connect with students in such a way as to help them achieve levels they did not think were possible. He is a master teacher for the newest beginner level to the most advanced student. I highly recommend Mark Talley as a private lesson teacher.
