Hi there! I enjoy tutoring math one-on-one specifically because it's easier to find examples and uses for different math skills that apply to things you yourself might be interested in, be in video games, sports, cooking, baking, underwater basket weaving--whatever you think of as your "thing" or "in your wheelhouse". I like to use humor to take a little stress out of what may be a stressful topic for you. And I very much believe in helping you discover how the math is working more than I explain it to you--but I do believe in guiding you through that process, as well.
