I focus on teaching students the overall musical ideas as well as specific necessary skills needed to portray the musical ideas. Eat Training, music theory and analyzes are also a subject of my discussions with the students, since it is necessary to understand the meaning of the piece and the idea of the composer. Combining Russian, American and French schools of music learnings, I try to provide students with the most well-rounded musical education.

Mark is one of the finest musicians I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He has an incredibly rare ability to explain the essence of musical ideas in a way that dramatically changes and improves his students' playing and musicianship. His understanding of music is on the highest of levels. He is an amazing teacher, player, and mentor--I could not recommend him more highly.

Mark is a wonderful teacher, who reads the student instantly, and quickly adopts his strategies in order to reach the highest results together with the student. Most importantly, he taught me how to practice and perfect my playing by myself, which is very useful, considering my travel schedule. I highly recomend him for students of all ages.
