Bass Guitar with Mark N.

I am a soon to be graduate of Rowan University, studying bass with a Jazz Studies degree. I have been playing and studying music for 16 years starting with piano at the age of 8. In the 4th grade I picked up clarinet for the school band and played that until graduating from high school. When I was 12 I switched from piano to electric bass and have been playing it ever since in various styles from rock to jazz to classical and so on. After graduating high school I started learning upright bass in college. I started teaching friends various instruments and general music theory as a freshman. After performing my senior recital at Rowan University I will officially be done with schooling and devote myself fully into playing and teaching music. I like to take an individualistic approach to teaching seeing as every person learns in their own unique way. ***Lesson Description*** -In regards to lessons it is my intention to first and fore most understand the student, what they want to learn, and why they want to learn it. -I have a strong understanding of music theory which is something I would like to pass on to my students.
