Trumpet with Mark K.

I currently am the trumpet private lessons instructor at Great Southern Music shop in Gainesville, FL, right by the Oaks Mall, teaching students from a range of 5 years old to 18 (although I am open to teaching adults). I am a senior at UF, majoring in Music (Trumpet) and Business and have played in many of the bands there (jazz, symphonic, trumpet ensemble, marching band, pep bands, etc). I have about five and a half years experience teaching private lessons, and also have been playing trumpet for approximately 10 years. While I know that learning to play any instrument can be a difficult undertaking, it's not hard to keep it fun while learning how to play well on trumpet! I am very understanding, patient, and am able to diagnose many common issues that new players experience (this can definitely help prevent frustration!).
