I have been playing guitar for 17 years and bass for 7. I've also taught for 7 years and had many happy students with online or Skype as a possibility. I play many different styles of music from Death Metal to Country to Funk. I am also endorsed by a large US guitar company (Schecter Guitar Research). I can teach acoustic, electric or bass and have lots of experience with kids. *** Lesson Details *** The lessons will be guided by the student. My main goal is to keep you interested in music and inspired to practice. We will learn styles and techniques of music that you enjoy and achieving your goals as well as effective, fun practice methods. We can cover any topics you want and learn songs by any artist. I will interject a bit of theory knowledge whenever it is applicable, but focus mostly on proper technique so it sounds great when you play guitar and it doesn't hurt your hand/wrist! *** Studio Equipment *** Lessons in living room, I have acoustic or electric available *** Travel Equipment *** I bring an acoustic guitar, chord book and my notes. Student will have to own a guitar. *** Specialties *** I specialize in Metal, Rock, and Blues, but can teach anything the student wants to learn...have taught and played Pop, Classical, Funk, Country, Folk.
