PSAT with Marissa D.

I am excited to help students discover or maintain an affinity for academic work by providing high quality tutoring. I graduated college with a degree in engineering, and have done very well in the many required math classes, including algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and statistics. I graduated high school with over a 4.0 in technical subjects, and have since only strengthened my mathematical and teaching experience. I also received above a 700 in the math section of the SAT and GRE, and view both tests as a series of enjoyable puzzles. During college I developed a deep appreciation for they way different approaches to a subject can drastically effect one's understanding of that subject, so I try my best to tutor in creative and flexible ways. This past summer I enjoyed being a teacher's assistant for a high school engineering course, and would love to work with anyone who wants to improve their understanding of math or sciences!
