American Repertory Ballet

I was a trainee with the company, which means I got to learn from the teachers there, as well as perform with the company. I learned from teachers who danced with American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey, and The Washington Ballet. This is where I began my teaching career as well. I was lucky enough to observe teachers from American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and other well known companies.

The Montgomery Ballet

I continued my dancing career with The Montgomery Ballet. I dance with the company, as well as taught for the school. I taught ballet classes, pointe classes, stretch and conditioning classes, and private lessons. This is where I realized I love teaching just as much as I love dancing. I helped the director of the company put The Nutcracker together, as well as helped the students prepare their variations for our annual recital.

American Ballet Theatre

In June 2016, I took a course in New York City to become a certified ABT teacher. This course gives information and examples on how to create the best technical dancers, while keeping their minds and bodies healthy. I had the honor of learning from Franco DeVita and Raymond Lukens.
